About the show
Celebrate Christmas with a Night of Outstanding Live Comedy.
The Last Laugh Comedy Club returns to Sheffield City Hall with another unmissable Christmas comedy spectacular featuring four of the very best names on the UK comedy circuit.
Your host for the evening is the ever-popular Barry Dodds, whose quick-fire crowd work and infectious energy make him one of the country's favourite comperes. Joining him is the brilliantly acerbic Michael Legge, a multi-award-winning comedian renowned for his razor-sharp observations and uncompromising wit, alongside the hugely entertaining Dawn Bailey, whose warm, relatable style always wins over audiences, and the fast-rising Pete Otway, one of the most exciting and original voices in British stand-up.
Whether it's your office Christmas party, a festive get-together with family and friends or simply a chance to enjoy a brilliant night out, this is the perfect way to kick off the festive season.
Expect a packed City Hall, a fantastic atmosphere and two hours of unforgettable live comedy. Christmas shows are always among our most popular, so book early to avoid missing out.
Featuring - Barry Dodds

This charming Geordie motor-mouth has audiences in the palm of his hand, even when discussing the most near the knuckle subjects. With material ranging from the supernatural to euthanasia, everything is delivered with a cheeky smile that wins over even the most stony faced of the audience.
A finalist in various high profile competitions such as Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol and Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Search, his twinkly eyed, playful demeanour disarms judging panels, industry experts and audiences alike, allowing him flirt coquettishly with topics that are traditionally a little more unusual.
'Hugely enjoyable... a ton of great stories... one to watch' (The Guardian)
'Razor sharp humour' (Metro)
'... the appealing and perceptive Barry Dodds... captivates his audiences with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit. His mix of surprisingly uncanny and irrepressibly cheeky material leaves them wanting for more' (Funhouse Comedy).
Pete Otway
'Devastatingly funny' (Chortle)
'... cheeky and charming...' (Funhouse Comedy).
Dawn Bailey

Dawn is a forty something (ahem just turned 50) Mum who views life through happy specs and giddy knickers (her own words).
An original performer, Dawn won the XS Manchester Radio Comedian of the Year in 2016, which led to her presenting a show on the station
A likeable and affable nature, Dawn is a regular on the UK comedy circuit and performs for some of the most reputable promoters in the Country.
Dawn's honesty regarding life and love are raw, straight to the point and comes with a no-holds-barred delivery. She is a merry maker and definitely loves to have a damn good chuckle
Pin sharp anecdotes from a life juggling a career, kids, attending weekly slimming club meetings and the joys of involuntary flatulence... she's a very funny lady"- The BBC
Michael Legge

Stand-up comedian with a cruel tongue that gets the rest of his body into trouble - definitely for the adults only!
'Often copied, but never matched' (Time Out)
'A hugely popular and enjoyable comic who we are thrilled to have back... (Red Card Comedy Club).
