Join us for an immersive screening of the award-winning shadow puppet film Hunter 77.

This film is based on the life of Joe Philips, a Jamaican immigrant steelworker living in Sheffield during the 60s, who spent eight years building a boat to sail home. Multimedia artist Cole Morris sends Joe on an epic journey across the world, encountering both real and fictional stories of immigration, war and displacement during the 1970s.

The screening will feature a live soundtrack performed by three musicians, a small exhibition of the shadow puppets and a Q&A with the artist.
