Dressed for winter and ready to play! Gideon returns to Cafe No9 for an evening of singing, rapping and great vibes. Old favourites will sit alongside new songs from his recent recording sessions to create a journey through his idiosyncratic world of soul, jazz and hip hop.

Described as De La Soul having a tussle with Badly Drawn Boy, his brand of folkish hip hop emulates everything from Outkast to Beck, yet his unique fusion of song rapped lyrics tells surprisingly personal tales. Manchester based Gideon looks set to be one of the biggest word of mouth stories in years. With fans ranging from Huw Stephens to Guy Garvey (Elbow) and Russell Brand, it's not hard to see or hear why Gideon is tipped for big things.
