About the show
A hilarious sea voyage aboard the S.S. American, where nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, her friend Billy Crocker, and a host of quirky characters find themselves in a madcap romance with mistaken identities, singing, and dancing. Billy, a stowaway, is determined to win the heart of heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to the wealthy but dull Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.
With help from Reno, the gangster "Moonface" Martin, and a cast of eccentric passengers, the unlikely pairs navigate their way to true love.
