About the show
A performer by nature and a poet by trade, Georgie Jones has been praised for her ‘formidable stage presence and compelling way with words’ (Reviews Hub). Roundhouse Poetry Slam finalist turned Resident Artist and BBC Words First alum, Georgie has toured her work across the UK, gathered millions of views online and (almost) performed with Pitbull at the O2. Okay, technically just outside it, but she refuses to dwell on the specifics.
In her latest hour, she shares poems from her debut collection, And The World Spins Anyway. It’s a love letter to real life, however it shows up, an antidote to the highlight reel that is social media, a tribute to the unfinished, the unfiltered, the uncertain. She can’t promise any answers, but she can make you feel a little less alone in not having them.

Georgie Jones is a poet and performer known for her wit and warmth. Praised for her ‘formidable stage presence and compelling way with words’ (Reviews Hub), Georgie’s work captures the exquisite messiness of modern existence and makes the chaos, somehow, feel comforting.
