Originally built in 1925 as the Miners Welfare Hall. It served The Greenside mining community and is connected to the memory of those who died while working at the collieries. There is a very eerie feeling in these old rooms at night and some people prefer not to go into certain parts. Whispering can be heard coming from empty rooms and doors have been seen to close on their own whilst shadowy figures can be seen moving from room to room.
