About the show

Ripley: Comedy is Back!! Afteran amazing opening night in July, we have decided to do it all over again with 3 Comedy Circuit Headliners gracing the stage.

Just check out the acts we have in store for you...

David Eagle Closing the show, we have the brilliant blind comic David Eagle. David is also a highly accomplished folk musician with his band Young Uns. Expect very funny stories, wonderfully original songs and razor-sharp improv. David has his own BBC Radio 4 series and has been a guest on "The Now Show" multiple times.

Bethany Black Bethany Black is an award winning English stand up comedian, actress and writer. As a comedian, Black is described as "managing to balance dark-tinged comedy with being warm and chatty" - The Guardian

Peter Brush A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion. Peter performs at all the major clubs across the UK as well as doing shows in Budapest, Switzerland and Norway. Formerly a BBC New Comedy Award finalist, he has written for several BBC Radio 4 shows and was the support act for Alexei Sayle’s most recent tour. Other acts he has supported on tour include Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Fern Brady, Arthur Smith and Paul Sinha.

Tickets are only £10 - this kind of lineup would set you back £20+ easily in a City Centre, so get supporting your local businesses and artists!

Grab a beer (and some BBQ Ribs) and enjoy a night of brilliant comedy.

Bethany Black

Bethany Black appearing at this event

Decidedly dark and deliciously different – a one way ticket to a world you never knew existed. Despite being 'unique', she's warm and chatty and has built a cult following for her brand of confessional comedy.

'Outstanding comic, laughs just keep on coming' (Channel 4).
