About the show
After a long hot summer Redstart is proud to present a day of live music in Redhill for the Arts Takeover. Big thank you to Reigate and Banstead Council for creating this event.
The Redstart Community Stage will be outside the Posadero Lounge in Redhill from 11am to 6pm - and boy oh boy have we got a great day of music for you!

The Deltones
Legendary all female ska/bluebeat outfit The Deltones are back and in Redhill! Formed in London back in the early/mid 80's, in their heyday, the group won cult status and the admiration of John Peel, recording sessions for Radio 1 and Capital Radio and appearing live on Saturday morning TV.
The Potato 5
The Potato 5 are bona fide UK ska legends. Formed in 1983 and instrumental in the original UK ska explosion. They're back doing what they do best: delivering irresistible ska and rocksteady grooves with all the energy, musicianship and joy that made them one of the standout bands of the era.
Tim Hain with Jamside Up
“The Van Morrison of Bleggae” Tim has flown under the radar for far too long. He mostly writes his own material and has played guitar with the best on both sides

Our favourite local legend Billie Fox is back blending powerful vocals, honest storytelling and dynamic guitars into songs that explore resilience, mental health, hope and human connection

Tim Hain
Tim will often improvise a lyric on stage, later crafting this into one of the blues Reggae hybrids for which he is so well known. His passion for 'roots' music has taught him the value of simplicity and that a song is a means of communication.
His considerable craft can be turned to any style, be it ballad or anthem, R n B, rock or pop.
