About the show
Rhys Nicholson has served as Principal Cello of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, 2021 - 2024. He has worked with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Sinfonia Cymru and joined Manchester Camerata for several concerts in their 2024/25 season through their Professional Experience Scheme. He plays with the Morelia Piano Trio, who are recent winners of the RNCM’s Nossek Prize and has performed London’s Wigmore Hall.
Joseph Sweeney is a two-time recipient of the Monklands’ Rotary Club Young Musician of the Year Award. Jason is an accomplished musician on both piano and clarinet and performs regularly with the highly-esteemed Motherwell Symphonic Band.
Programme includes music by Vaughan Williams, Liszt and Fauré.
