The Vapors, the English new wave and power pop band known for their 1980 hit "Turning Japanese," reformed in 2016 after a 34-year hiatus and have since released two new studio albums, with a third new album recently released in early 2025
Eddie Roxy & The Adjacent Kings is a recent project by original Department S frontman Eddie Roxy (Edward Lloyd-Barnes) after his previous band ended in 2022, blending updated Department S material with new tracks, achieving chart success with "Let's Go" and releasing an EP.

Surrey UK New Wave band who had a worldwide hit in 1980 with classic song 'Turning Japanese' and iconic album 'New Clear Days'. The band were discovered by The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton and managed by Paul Weller's father. In 2016 they reformed with original members Dave Fenton, Ed Bazalgette and Steve Smith along with new recruit Michael Bowes.
