About the show
No gimmicks. No filter. Just Richard Blackwood at his realist.
In this brand-new hour, Richard delivers sharp, fearless comedy with raw honesty - tackling fatherhood, fame, race, ageing and mental health.
It’s a bold mix of truth-telling, cultural commentary & laugh-out-loud moments from one of the UK’s most seasoned voices.
Fresh from 'Sorry, I Didn’t Know' 'Jack & The Beanstalk' and a career spanning The Real McCoy, MTV, EastEnders, Hollyoaks, Glastonbury and more - this is Richard like you’ve never seen him before.
Richard Blackwood: Unfiltered – comedy with heart, edge and plenty to say.
Featuring
Richard Blackwood
Considered by some to be the UK's answer to Will Smith, TV presenter, comedian, pop star/rapper, actor and radio DJ Richard Blackwood has many strings to his bow. As a rapper and singer, Richard had a no.3 hit single in 2000 with his cover of Junior's 'Mama Used To Say' (who happens to be Richard's uncle!), reworked as 'Mama Who Da Man'. Nowadays you will mostly find Richard on the stand-up circuit.
