You know the coat. You know the questions. You know that seemingly innocent manner that has left countless criminals wishing they had never opened the door. But have you seen Lieutenant Columbo in Prescription: Murder? This is where it all begins, with a murder that looks almost impossible to solve and a killer who is convinced he has covered every possible angle. Unfortunately for him, he has not reckoned with Columbo.
As the investigation unfolds, the smallest details begin to take on new significance and the detective's seemingly casual questions become increasingly uncomfortable for the man sitting opposite him. Prescription: Murder is a classic cat-and-mouse murder mystery in which the audience knows the killer from the beginning, but the real question is how Columbo will catch him. Preston Drama Club brings this gripping production to Preston Playhouse from 23rd to 26th September.
