Aaron Liddard is a British saxophonist, composer and bandleader whose playing sits at the crossroads of jazz, funk and soul.
A long-time collaborator with artists including Amy Winehouse, Prince, Maceo Parker, Beverley Knight and Bob Geldof, he is equally at home on major stages and in intimate jazz settings. Liddard presents original music driven by groove, warmth and lyrical improvisation. His critically acclaimed releases and international performances have established him as one of the UK’s most distinctive and in-demand saxophonists.

Having performed in the bands of Amy Winehouse, Beverley Knight, Bob Geldof and Prince, and now selling out 2 shows at Ronnie Scott's, London-based saxophonist and composer Aaron Liddard has quite the musical résumé.
Released to critical acclaim in 2022, his latest record 'Nylon Man' comprises 12 tracks of jazz influenced by the music of Europe, North and South America, the Caribbean and Africa. The title of the album is derived from the three cities that most influenced Aaron (New York, London and Manchester) and features a plethora of guest contributions from the likes of Carleen Anderson, Omar Puente and Miss Baby Sol.
Liddard's working band features musicians from the UK, Italy and Ghana who have all been entertaining audiences across the country with their excellent rapport and exhilaratingly inclusive performances. Live shows never fail to get audiences involved: clapping, singing along, dancing, and even hugging mid-gig!
