Tom Bliss brings his acclaimed storytelling, musicianship and trademark warmth back to the stage — and this time he’s doing it for a cause close to his heart. Lauded across the folk world for performances described as “astonishingly moving and inspirational” and “spellbinding”, Tom now plays exclusively to raise money for MS research, adding to the £20,500 already generated. For these special shows he’s reunited the band he first formed in 1999 — the mighty Slide — featuring John Layton on bass, Derek Magee on fiddle, whistle and mandolin, Neil Whitaker on guitar and 5?string banjo, and Tom himself weaving everything else together with effortless skill.
