Our popular Studio Jazz series moves to the Theatre for one night only for this very special, 13-piece, Latin jazz extravaganza!
Orchestra Mambo International is a powerhouse 13-piece Latin big band formed in 2022 by salsa DJ Lubi Jovanovic (DJ Lubi) and trombonist/composer Jonny Enright (Grupo X). Featuring musicians from Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Brazil, and the UK, they celebrate the golden era of mambo, salsa dura, and Afro-Cuban jazz with a bold, contemporary edge.
Their exhilarating live shows have hit Glastonbury, Leeds Jazz Festival, and Musicport.
Their debut album Apúntalo, out September 2026 on Loft Recordings, features all-original mambo and Latin jazz, with vocalist Carlos Peña (ex-Oscar D’León Orchestra) and guest Claritzel Miyares, acclaimed Cuban singer and touring artist with Puerto Rican superstar Olga Tañón.
A thrilling mix of rising talent and seasoned Latin players, Orchestra Mambo International bring the fire and sophistication of classic mambo to new UK audiences.
