Winter Calls

The world as we know it has ended. We didn’t listen, and now the inevitable has happened – war, destruction, and lives torn apart. In this new, dangerous landscape the remains of humanity are forced to live in secret, cut off from each other, and hunted at every turn by mutant creatures. But there is a chance – through the static of the radio, unlikely friendships are formed as three groups reach out to each other and find love and hope among the ruins.

This exciting new musical has been created by Frequency Theatre, formed by the HNC Performing Arts students from University Centre Peterborough. Created entirely by the company, Winter Calls takes you on a journey to the near future and offers a vision of what life might be like – and how we can avoid the same fate!
