Crashland are coming to play an intimate live show at Truck Store on 31st January 2026, marking a rare chance to experience a band whose songs have endured long beyond their original moment. The event will include a special acoustic performance from the band, alongside a Q&A presented by Tim Hughes (The Oxford Times) and a signing afterwards.
Emerging in the mid-’90s and once hailed by NME as “Britain’s best new band,” Crashland combined emotionally rich songwriting with a powerful live presence. Their new release, The Famous Five Session, shines a light on a long-lost chapter of the band’s story. Featuring five previously unheard demos recorded in 2001 alongside tracks from The Devoted EP, released on vinyl for the first time.
Crashland
Formed in the mid - 90s and quickly touted by NME as “Britain’s best new band”, Crashland had everything: killer songs, a compelling live energy, and a frontman in Alex Troup whose melodic instincts and lyrical heart made him one of the most quietly gifted songwriters of his generation.
