Presented in full 360° immersive audio, these three sextets - Sextet, Double Sextet and Six Marimbas - distill Steve Reich’s musical language into its purest form: interlocking rhythmic figures, subtle shifts, and harmonies which seem to vibrate in the air. In this innovative format the piece becomes a kinetic experience, moving through space as much as through time.
Developed by Loss﹥﹤Gain in collaboration with the Colin Currie Group, this spatial reimagining places you at the heart of the music. Multiple instrumental layers pulse and overlap, revealing the hypnotic beauty and physical energy that define Reich’s work.
