Linda Moylan, Wickenwood

Linda produces music that is an extraordinary mix of influences and genres, blending folk (revisited from a current London / Irish cultural perspective), pop rock, Celtic melody and American blues. Her music is timeless, filtering new compositions through the prism of her musical heritage to produce an overall modern day eclectic feel.

Linda draws on many inspirations, citing numerous artists as influences, including Leonard Cohen, Edith Piaf, Nina Simone, early folk pioneers, Portishead, Hank Williams, Ennio Morricone and the poets and authors of yesteryear .

Wickenwood are an Indie-folk trio featuring well established duo Phil and Deb Marshall, with fiddle player Mags Layton. Together they play acoustic music with contemporary influences, based around harmony-driven vocals, drawing inspiration from the folklore and legends of the people and places they visit.
