Doctor Mirabilis is the songwriting moniker of John Tully, whose genre-defying work has evolved from the roots-tinged output of his early years as ‘JT Songs’ into a distinctive blend of literary songwriting and shapeshifting musical styles.

Early champion David Berman of Silver Jews compared Tully’s work to Richard Thompson and Roland S. Howard, leading to support slots on Silver Jews’ tours in Ireland and the United States. Returning to the stage after several years away, Doctor Mirabilis presents material from his recent album 'Beach Songs', alongside selections from an eclectic catalogue spanning over two decades.
