The Swamp Stomp String Band are heading to The Chapel for the first time on their Spring 2026 tour! Expect an original, raucous mix of old-time style music with a modern punch. Armed with twangy banjos, gritty guitars, thudding double bass, pounding drums, and a flat-pack honky-tonk piano, they blend Bluegrass, Country, Americana, and dive-bar swagger into a high-energy live show that?s equal parts theatrical, bawdy and immersive.

The Swamp Stomp String Band are not just another hillbilly-wannabe country band. Sure, there are twangy banjos, driving guitars, a honky-tonk piano, and a thudding double bass but these propel everything from drinking songs that will have the room stomping their feet and raising their flagons of cider, to ballads that will break even the toughest of folk.
