About the show
Original and unique 5 piece band first formed in 2007 and now back re-energised playing their raw and dirty roots-based groove music.
Their down to earth approach to blues music took the music scene by storm resulting in headline performances at some of the UK's highest regarded Blues festivals and clubs. In addition they represented the UK in Memphis and in Hell, Norway for the International Blues Challenge.
Following a 10 year break they are back playing better than ever with the original line-up.
Featuring - Hokie Joint
Born in late 2007 through a mutual dissatisfaction with the guitar driven swill swamping the 21st Century blues scene, Hokie Joint takes 5 pieces of youth and experience to create a ground breaking, song driven twist on the genre.
Performing their own unique brand of dirty, roots based groove music, Hokie Joint have reminded the blues world, via their dramatic and raw live shows, that the music they hold so dear is about more than just a guitarist's dexterity!
