Fuzzy Lights

Combining ethereal drone, brushed folk and quantised cacophony, Cambridge's Fuzzy Lights exist at a critical point of sounds, textures, emotions and musical styles. Formed as a duo in 2004, the live band has expanded to a five-piece, resulting in the formation of a wide scope of live soundscapes that envelop, whilst avoiding any aloof detachment from the spectator.

Steven Malley (from The Unit Ama) performs English folk style guitar combined with raga influenced playing.

Reminiscent of the 60s folk revivalists such as Bert Jansch and Davey Graham but imbued with a legacy of New Wave and post-rock guitar bands, this coupled with Steve’s powerful, warm voice and boundless humanity creates a very special, unique magic.
