Flat Moon

Flat Moon are a 6-piece funk/rock/psych band from Leeds, with a line-up featuring two electric guitars (rhythm and lead), saxophone, bass, drums, 3 vocalists and percussion. The band's material is eclectic in nature, and their instrumentation allows them to be exceptionally flexible creatively, and explore a wide range of sounds and styles of music.

Flat Moon prioritise exhibiting a sense of fun in both their recorded music and their reputably active live shows, despite their lyrical topics addressing a multitude of social issues. This has led the band to focus on creating a defined psychedelic funk style for their recent material, utilising their pairing of a strong rhythm section and a powerful sax/guitar lead combination to create big riffs and catchy hooks that compliment their cynical topic material choices.
