About the show
NORTHILL, WE’RE HAVING A LAUGH!
Absolutely Belting Comedy brings headliner DAN EVANS to The Crown for an intimate Thursday night of cracking laughs. Just 40 seats!
Gloriously daft and brilliantly funny, Dan has spent more than two decades entertaining audiences across the UK and around the world with tales of babysitting, hair loss and general decrepitude.
He’s written for Milton Jones, Micky Flanagan, Zoe Lyons and Frankie Boyle, with credits including BBC Two’s Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and Radio 4’s Thanks a Lot, Milton Jones!
“One of the best writers I know… originally ridiculous, silliness taken to the nth degree.” — Milton Jones
“A joy to see the brilliant Dan Evans at his blistering best.” — Paul Sinha
Joining Dan are award-winning South Korean comedian SANG DON PARK and London cabbie turned British Comedian of the Year finalist TREVOR BICKLES. Your host, holding it all together — barely — is DUNCAN HART.
Three cracking acts. One chaotic host. As easy as ABC!

Featuring - Dan Evans

Excellent comedian from Edinburgh who has appeared frequently on TV.
For over a decade Dan’s twisted logic has been gladdening Stand-Up Comedy audiences across the UK and Ireland. He’s also performed his accessible but frequently childish surrealism in front of chubby perspiring ex-pats in Dubai and Oman, and had his grammar rectified by politer crowds in Germany and Holland.
