Picky New Promotions are very excited to welcome BUGEYE to The Garibaldi Hotel on Fri Nov 28!
Bugeye are a fierce, female-led five-piece from Croydon, delivering a heady mix of gritty guitars, retro synths, and sharp, socially conscious lyrics. Formed by childhood friends Angela Martin (vocals, guitar) and Paula Snow (bass), who bonded over music growing up on a council estate, the band later welcomed Kat Pihl (keys), Lex Giggs (guitar), and Ana (drums) to complete their explosive line-up.
With a bold DIY ethos and a reputation for riotous, high-energy live shows, Bugeye are a driving force in the UK’s underground scene— for fans of St. Vincent, Le Tigre, John Grant, and Bones UK.
Supporting are Belgian psych rockers GROS COEUR and young indie rock band TIEBREAK from Milton Keynes.
Free entry, music from 8:30 pm. 18+ only.

If Debbie Harry, Jimi Hendrix, Kate Bush, & Keith Moon had been kidnapped by vegan aliens & bred, sometimes being tortured with hot poky things, in the pursuit of the ultimate rock & roll sound, the result may have sounded a little like this.
