Mariners Away will be raising the roof at North Tawton Rugby Club on Friday 20 March with a night of sea shanties, maritime songs and plenty of laughter with all proceeds in support of the fantastic Merry Go Round charity.
The special fundraising concert promises an uplifting evening of traditional sea shanties and maritime folk songs, helping to shake off the winter blues while raising vital funds for Merry Go Round’s work in North Tawton and the surrounding area.
Bring a few friends, grab a drink at the bar and join us for a night of music and good company. Let’s fill the room for Merry Go Round!

Mariners Away
Based in South Zeal on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, Mariners Away are a long-established shanty crew who perform traditional sea shanties and other songs of the sea.
The crew regularly performs at festivals, public events and private gigs throughout the south-west and occasionally further afield.
