About the show
Get in the mood for the festive season with Gareth Davies-Jones' Acoustic Christmas show, where he creates a space away from the hustle and bustle of what Christmas has become. Armed with a variety of instruments and a selection of stories and anecdotes, you’ll be taken on a journey through some of my favourite songs and carols of Advent and Christmas. Listen, sing along, remember, look to the future, lose yourself in the music.
Featuring - Gareth Davies-Jones
Performer, activist and campaigner for social justice, with intelligent and gentle songs.
'The gritty writing style of Martyn Joseph, the simple smoothness of Fernando Ortega's sound and the commercial substance of David Gray. You'll find a lot more than just a talented musician'- Geoff Howlett, NFN.
“Hailing from Bangor in Northern Ireland, Davies-Jones borrows just enough from the folk traditions to imbue the album with a deliciously inviting, roots-infused sound that avoids any folk clichés and maintains a breezy pop hue that is sure to appeal far beyond any genre boundaries.” Folking.com
