Moor Poets presents: An Open Mic Poetry Evening

Moor Poets is “a community of friendly poets based in and around Dartmoor in Devon” – for more, see moorpoets.weebly.com. This evening of poetry readings features Fiona Benson, reading and talking about her work, plus an Open Mic session.

Fiona Benson PhD, FRSL, is a poet, teacher and mother. She’s had four poetry collections published by Jonathan Cape. The most recent, Midden Witch, was the Poetry Book Society’s choice. Her second collection, Vertigo & Ghost  won the Forward Prize. Her first three collections were all nominated for the T.S. Eliot Prize. Other recent work has included ?co-translations of Ukrainian poetry and writing a script for the Belgian dance company Ultima Vez.
