About the show
Drawing from their mutual love of classic rock, pop, country, jazz and blues, Christine and Dave dive head long and full throttle into the songs they love. Their combined passion, talent and fun-loving personalities bring a natural warmth and great charm to their performances.
Dave Kelly is a founder member of The Blues Band and a stalwart of the British blues scene. He cut his teeth in the backing bands of Howlin’ Wolf and John Lee Hooker, and has played with Buddy Guy, Son House and Muddy Waters. The Blues Band have released about 20 albums, and Dave has 15 either solo or with his own Dave Kelly Band.
Christine Collister came to prominence in the UK folk scene in the eighties, singing the title song for the BBC drama series Life & Loves Of A She Devil. She was in Richard Thompson’s touring band as vocalist and acoustic guitarist, and has released five acclaimed albums with Clive Gregson. She’s collaborated with many varied artists, and released a further 15 albums of solo and duo work.

One of the most powerful and distinctive of the contemporary British folk and soul singers who went solo in 1992 after working for many years with Clive Gregson. She has the ability to mesmerise and astound with her unique blend of soul, blues, pop, jazz, country and folk.
Touring for the first time in 5 years this November (2024) she is still a fabulous performer.
Her most recent release, Children Of The Sea, is a collection of 9 original songs inspired by Manx Folklore and a magical sense of place. Accompanying the CD is gorgeous a book with lyrics, stories, inspirations and original illustrations from local (Isle Of Man) artists. Christine will be performing to the tracks she produced for this very special project along with beautiful video footage for each song.
The second half of the show will be a stripped-down acoustic performance of songs from across her astonishing 40-year career.
Always an engaging, entertaining, emotional performer this will be a night to remember and cherish.

Dave Kelly
Dave Kelly is known as Britain's finest blues slide guitarist, as well as being an excellent vocalist. He was joint lead singer in The Blues Band of which he was a founder member with Paul Jones.
