Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman
2025 sees Kathryn & Sean mark 30 years of making wonderful music together. Join them for what is sure to be a memorable Anniversary Tour. Two of the British folk scenes most accomplished performers, Kathryn and Sean have graced stages the world over in a number of guises, however, the intimacy and strength of passion shown as a duo, combined with an eclectic repertoire ensures a rare treat for any listener. The Roberts-Lakeman name has become synonymous with “quality” during their musical careers which started when they were signed to a major label as teenagers. Now after nearly two decades in music, Kathryn’s sublime vocals merge seamlessly with Sean’s deft and inventive live guitar work on stage – and his award-winning sonic skills in the studio. In addition to his chart-topping hit records for brother Seth Lakeman, Sean has this year alone produced albums or tracks with The Levellers, Billy Bragg, Frank Turner, Imelda May and Bellowhead… as well as a string of other folk/acoustic acts. "An absolute masterclass in how to do it right." - festivalsforall.com 'These guys are something very special' - Acoustic Magazine English folk's Buckingham-Nicks" - The Independent on Sunday

Phil Beer
Phil is one half of folk supergroup Show Of Hands and is in much demand as a multi-instrumentalist and producer and has been described by the Guardian as 'where Steve Earle and Richard Thompson collide'. He was nominated for the coveted Musician of the Year title in the 2009 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. He is perhaps best known as a top-flight fiddler, but his skills don't stop there: he also plays slide, Spanish and tenor guitars, mandocello, viola, mandolin and South American cuatro, not to mention contributing his rich and remarkable vocals. All are songs and music of memory and significance, sung in the subtle and melodic Phil Beer style and interjected with musings and amusings to an almost personal audience.

The Haar
The Haar brings the fresh talent of traditional Irish singer Molly Donnery combined with three of the most exciting instrumentalists on the folk and traditional music circuit: Cormac Byrne (Instrumentalist of the Year 2019, FATEA Magazine Music Awards), Adam Summerhayes (‘a Paganini of the traditional violin’ fROOTS) and Murray Grainger (‘Gorgeous stuff’ BBC Radio 3). The band has its origins in a chance meeting between Adam, Cormac and Molly at a trad session at Craiceann Bodhrán Festival, Inis Oírr, resulting in an improvised live performance recorded by the shipwreck of the Plassey on the wild Atlantic seafront. It was to become typical of the unique ‘live reactive composition’ that characterises their music. With the addition of master accordionist Grainger, they entered the studio at the end of 2019 to record their debut album ’The Haar’ with no plans or arrangements, guided only by the live musical landscapes they created – the music was recorded as it flowed, often in the first and only take. Mike Harding said: “I think it’s an absolutely amazing album. Full of great traditional music, just sung and played brilliantly.” “We need more music like this; spontaneous, alive and affecting, The Haar will take you on a journey and have you appreciating the purest of life’s pleasures. Wonderful stuff.” Folk Radio UK.
