Has the bizarre ever birthed such talent? An offshoot of indie fuzz-rocksters The Wedding Present (which started as them doing a session for John Peel in Ukrainian as a joke), the Ukrainians are now an established outfit in their own right. With a growing audience here and a large following in Europe (including the Ukraine), their blend of Ukrainian folk and western rock is spellbinding.
