Garrett T. Capps is a San Antonio–based singer-songwriter who has carved out a singular space in modern Texas music by blending honky-tonk, cosmic country, psychedelia, and barroom rock ’n’ roll. Emerging from the regional circuit with a reputation for theatrical live shows and sharp songwriting, he broke wider ground with the retro-futuristic, synth-tinged concept record NASA Country, which fused classic country tropes with sci-fi flair.
