After five consecutive years of sell-out success—2023, 2024 and 2025 all selling out weeks before opening—Craig Wilde’s highly acclaimed adaptation of Charles Dickens’s timeless Christmas classic returns for its most enchanting season yet.

Directed by Award Winning Jake Murray, this remarkable and intimate in-the-round production once again unfolds inside the magnificent 17th-century Great Room of Alderman Fenwick’s House on Pilgrim Street, in the very heart of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Once the grand dining room and bar salon of the former Queen’s Head Hotel—where Charles Dickens himself is said to have stayed, dined, and regaled guests with his stories—this extraordinary setting offers a rare, authentic connection to the great author.

For 2026, audiences can expect a few delightful surprises, including upgraded costumes, refined scenic details, and enhanced atmospheric touches to elevate the experience even further.

With only 48 seats per night, guests are placed at the very centre of the story.
