We are delighted to include ‘Private Lives’ in our upcoming season, one of the most sparkling comedies ever written.
Written by Noel Coward, this classic comedy of manners is a witty and fast paced exploration of love, marriage and the complications of old relationships.
Divorced couple Elyot and Amanda are honeymooning with their new spouses only to discover they have booked the same hotel, not to mention an adjacent balcony. When the former couple unexpectedly meet again, old feelings quickly resurface and the pair impulsively abandon their new partners and run away together, convinced they can make it work this time.
