The Voodoo Bats are made up of 4 members are from the Bradford and Leeds area: Patch O’Neill - Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar Tom O’Neill - Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals Sam Denning - Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals Jordan Doherty - Drums/Backing Vocals The Voodoo Bats are a four piece Indie/Rock band formed in Bradford with influences including Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, Kasabian and The Strokes. They are signed to SORM Records and run from SORM Studios. Formed in 2013, the band has a solid local fan base and has played shows all over the Yorkshire region including St George’s Hall in Bradford and Brudenell Club in Leeds as well as venues around the UK, gaining great feedback both on their live performance and their debut E.P titled “In or Out”. The E.P was released in December 2015 and has sparked a lot of interest from promoters and radio stations alike with BBC Introducing so far playing two of the tracks on their Saturday night show. Both “BingeThinker”, “Something” and their new track “Taking Over. The E.P has also attracted major attention from both Vale FM and Minster FM which are both located in the York area. Since the EP Launch, the band has played at a number of events such as Double Denim, a massive Indie event for upcoming talent; “Emerging Talent” at the Keighley Exchange; 360 Club and This Feeling at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds; SORM Fest; The Washington in Sheffield and took on the main stage at Nice n Sleezy Festival, Morecambe and Brodstock in Halifax. Their Debut music video was also recorded in 2016 titled “BingeThinker” which is available on the bands youtube page here: www.youtube.com/thevoodoobats . The track and video really shows the bands raw and gritty indie sound and image.
