A stage play adapted from the original TV series written by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer.
By arrangement with Tiger Aspect Productions. Supporting Comic Relief.
Milton Keynes Theatre of Comedy return to Dibley for a fourth and final visit reuniting the cast from previous sell out productions.
Vicar Geraldine Granger is approaching a milestone birthday and the parishioners gift her an evening of speed dating to find love. Though she is unsuccessful in her search there, a new arrival in the village soon catches her attention. Is there a mutual spark of attraction there? Will Geraldine finally get to walk down the aisle or will the other quirky inhabitants of Dibley mess things up for her? Will there be a holy wholly happy ending?
The script includes innuendo and mild swearing but not enough to stop it being shown on TV on a Sunday afternoon! An amateur production to professional standards.
Previous sell out shows have included ‘Fawlty Towers’, ‘Blackadder’, ‘Porridge’, ‘the Vicar of Dibley‘ and '‘Allo 'Allo’.
