Martin Roscoe hardly needs any introduction. With an extraordinary career spanning over five decades, he is unarguably one of the UK’s best loved and respected pianists. Hundreds of Radio 3 broadcasts, regular appearances with most of Britain’s leading orchestras, extensive recital tours and many recordings have made him one of our most prominent classical musicians. In his first Milngavie recital he offers a kaleidoscopic exploration of piano colour ranging from Polish composer Szymanowski’s perfumed exoticism to the virtuoso magnificence of Liszt’s St Francis de Paule.
