Eleanor Turner is chief harpist at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Mendi Singh is widely acclaimed as one of the best tabla players in the UK. Collaborating in Tāla Tarang (meaning ‘rhythm waves’) they bring together strands of traditional, contemporary, folk, and western and Indian classical music.
