About the show

Nikita’s outstanding performance here last spring was followed by multiple live and studio recordings on BBC Radio 3. After extensive touring north of the border “He stands out as one of the most exciting pianists based in Scotland”. He returns south with an ensemble to give us Grieg’s Piano Concerto in an exceptionally beautiful arrangement for piano and string septet. The programme will include a trio by Armenian composer Babajanian and Beethoven’s Sonata Pathétique.
