About the show

On the tenth anniversary of his death, join us for an afternoon celebrating the extraordinary songbook of Texan songwriter Guy Clark. We will have live music from Matt Hill & Dimestore Dirtbags, alongside reflections and readings about Guy's work.

Our DJ will be spinning songs of Texan troubadours as we remember and celebrate the man known as 'the songwriters songwriter'. There will be a chance for you to request your favourite Guy Clark song – which we will play for the final hour. If you ever met Guy or have a story about him, we’ll have time for those to be shared. This will be an informal relaxed afternoon in good company to honour and remember the great man.

Advance tickets £10 / Door tickets £15
Doors 3pm. Live music from 330pm. Ends 7pm
Note : This is an 18+ only event.

There will be a stall raising money for We Shall Overcome – a musician led initiative to show solidarity with those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. All money raised will be donated to the Station pub hub in Ashton-Under-Lyne which feeds and supports well over 100 people each day, 365 days of the year.
