Only Real

Only Real is an alt / aindir rock artist who released his debut album in 2015. This was a potent example of bedroom pop, the work of singular passions, and idiosyncratic impulses. His half rapping, half singing vocals laid over fuzzy psychedelic guitars show a wide range of influences from old school hip hop to skate culture and shoegaze.

Following this Only Real retreated from the centre of the stage, but his work remained – indeed, it seemed to grow and grow, absence making the hearts of fans grow fonder. In 2024 a new single appeared online followed by the announcement of live shows in 2025.
