Bimini
Featuring - Bimini

Bimini is a London-based DJ, musician and writer whose fiercely bold output sits at the intersection of electronic music, punk attitude, pride and politics. After breaking through on RuPaul's Drag Race UK, Bimini has stripped things back to put music at the core. DJing sits at the centre of their practice, with visceral sets spanning house, electro, breaks, drum'n'bass and leftfield club sounds, often blending DJing with live vocals for peak-time moments.
Bimini is now completing their debut album: a politically charged, no-fucks-given record of protest, satire and unflinching honesty that sticks two fingers up at the British establishment – what Bimini calls 'Electro-Cunt-Punk'. Drawing on punk, rave, jungle and queer dance history, it's raw and personal. First single 'TANK TOP BUM BOYS', a riot track named after a homophobic slur Boris Johnson wrote in The Daily Telegraph in 1998, came out in June. The album arrives on Bimini's own label, BRAIN RIOT RECORDS.
Bimini has released via Sony, with BBC Radio 1, 2 and 6 Music support, and remixed Anastacia and Kate Nash. Highlights include All Points East, the Roundhouse with Kate Nash, the Brits party with Lambrini Girls, Creamfields Chile and warming up for Lady Gaga at the O2, with dates ahead supporting Fatboy Slim on Brighton Beach and Peaches and Scissor Sisters on UK tours, plus Pride and festival shows across the UK, Europe and Australia. They're a HE.SHE.THEY resident and a prominent social and cultural voice.
