Manchester Community Choir delighted to be hosting a fund raising event for the Greater Manchester Mayor's charity, A Bed Every Night. The choir will perform a full set, and there will also be performances from local Manchester bands Northern Threads and Hard Times Kapelye.
Hard Times Kapelye are a Manchester-based Klezmer band who have a modern take on Klezmer and other Eastern European music.
Northern Threads' are a collection of musicians from Stockport who came together earlier this year to perform songs and stories relating to work in cotton mills.
Since 2000, Manchester Community Choir has consisted of over 100 people of all ages, who love to sing. They perform an extensive repertoire of world music, in many languages, and fill a stage with their joyful sound.
