Jungle

Former Mercury Prize nominees, West London electro-funk collective Jungle's musical style has been described as "midtempo 1970s-style funk", combining tropical percussion, wildlife noises, falsetto yelps, psychedelic washes and bass. Formed by Tom McFarland and Josh Lloyd-Watson, the pair wished to challenge themselves and resist the temptation to simply reproduce their music from laptops. They soon grew into a mighty seven-piece band to deliver a full live experience.

Session musicians turned collaborators, LA duo Rio Kosta's sound is driven by their Beatles-esque dream: a genre-fluid space where rhythm reigns and the inner child runs wild.
