Finnish Alt Metal outfit Stoned Statues come to the UK for a debut tour taking in a stop in Manchester headlining an all dayer at Aatma.

We are Sigils, a four-piece band created from a desire to create emotional melodies, sonic vastness and cathartic moments. Formed in Macclesfield in 2022, we have worked to blend the dynamic force of post-metal with the introspection of post-rock and the raw emotion of alternative music. Our aim as a band was to build towering, immersive soundscapes.
Our debut album ‘108’ is the realisation of that aim, imbued with input from each of us and our musical backgrounds. It is a record that channels vulnerability, weight, and beauty in equal measure.
From frantic riffs, to walls of sound, to delicate harmonies. We’re excited to share with you, the culmination of two years of our efforts.

Stoned Statues
Stoned Statues is a Finnish trio packed with punk attitude, demanding justice for all and standing their ground. Formed in 2019, the band's music is a combination of punk attitude and alternative metal with catchy vocal melodies.

Square Wild
Square Wild are a new, young band based around Manchester, writing their own songs covering a huge variety of unusual and interesting topics - not many young bands are going to write about people who can't seem to stop using their mobile phones!
If ever there’s a true NWOBCR (new wave of British classic rock) and this band aren’t at the forefront of it then something’s wrong! Catchy tunes, check. Ear-worm inducing riffs, check. Twin lead guitar breaks, check. Drum wizardry, check. Changing time signatures, check. A bit of swing, a bit of jazz, throw in some blues, and plenty of rock’n’roll and you have their recipe for some great entertainment…. And that’s before you get to Lucy’s vocals!.... she was taught music at school by a certain Mr Lees - later to discover his heritage in Barclay James Harvest!!
They are sweeping all before them in the highly active Manchester scene, not by playing the style of music that Manchester is perhaps associated with, but with truly "Classic Rock"....! At one recent event a headline band member was overheard saying "how on earth do we follow that?" at the end of Square Wild's set; at another the headline band didn't wait that long and asked to be put before them after hearing Square Wild's sound check! A band to be reckoned with!
