Join us for a lively and entertaining evening with the UK’s best loved wine expert Olly Smith (BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen) in conversation with Alex from Derventio Wines.
Olly will be discussing his sparkling debut novel, Death by Noir – a warm, witty, cosy crime set in the Sussex wine world. In this charming mystery, wine merchant Barclay Flint can taste a whole universe in a single glass, but when a vineyard owner is found dead, he must use his extraordinary palate to clear his name before Bonfire Night ignites more than just fireworks.
Blending storytelling, humour and a passion for wine, this special event invites you into Olly’s world for an evening of conversation, followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
To make the night more immersive, guests can choose to enjoy a complimentary glass of English sparking wine on arrival, with a Sussex vineyard featured in the novel reflected in the evening’s selection.
