Talks@Trades - Hip Heebs: Jews In American Jazz

Jewish musicians and facilitators have figured prominently in America's jazz history. In his new book, Kosher Jammers, Walthamstow journalist Mike Gerber relates that story drawing on multiple sources, including stacks of interviews with jazz figures, Jewish and otherwise. Mike will give a talk, with music and slides, on his book. This talk will be followed by a Q&A.
