Shakka

Innovative R&B artist Shakka was born from Dominican parents, cocooned in the multicultural busy bustle of Grove (Notting Hill), and marinated in Dub Reggae, Hip-Hop, Motown and Garage.

With regular heavy rotation on BBC 1Xtra, Shakka has won several MOBO awards including 'Best R&B/Soul Act' in both 2015 and 2016. He has toured with Basement Jaxx and Rudimental, had chart-topping singles with Wretch 32 and Show n Prove, more recently has supported Jess Glynne and teamed up with Aluna George on the 2018 UK top 30 single 'Man Down'.
