Buffalo Tom

Boston alt-rock three-piece who take their name from a combination of their love for Buffalo Springfield and the first name of their drummer. Releasing a steady stream of albums since the late 80s, they have maintained a relatively cult level of success in the UK, although scored a no.6 hit in 1999 with their cover of The Jam's 'Going Underground' as a double A sided single with Liam Gallagher and Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene). However the band were a regular soundtrack to American teen drama in the 90s, with their songs used in the hit TV series 'My So-Called Life'. After a 7 year hiatus, 2018 saw the release their 10th album; 'Quiet And Peace'. Still managing to sound fresh, as Louder Than War stated: "Over thirty years in, Buffalo Tom continue to fine-tune their craft while having enough volatility to shake off the cobwebs."
